A mutually benefiting relationship
Conventionally, a membership pass is sold at a fixed price with limited exclusive perks as determined by the issuing brand. However, an NFT-based membership is monetarily liquid and this changes everything. With this liquid factor in play, while the brands are obligated to provide exclusive benefits to the membership program to attract the holders, the membership holders are incentivized to promote the brand to bring up the price of their membership pass. A decentralized network of committed-users-turned-brand-ambassadors looking to enjoy the benefits of being a member with an added motivation to become part of the marketing effort for the representing brand is formed. The issuing brands, in turn, are incentivized to continue to provide good value and utility to the customers instead of becoming complacent. All of sudden, you have the brand and the users working hand in hand to appreciate the value of what they mutually own.
